Way to go bro stepin' it up again. The film trailer looks awesome. You need to school EJ how to spell your name......

Thanks guys, it was nothing shore of epic for sure. Mexico is quite the country, I love it down there. I am sure Ben will do a great job with the video as allways, and I'm curious to see how it will be different from the experience. EJ has improved on my name in latter posts at least :)

Great photos from the Alseseca! Two friends and I paddled the "classic section" in 1998. That year we had to portage a bunch of drops because thick vegetation overgrew the banks and we could not scout them. But there was still enough to make me come back in 1998. To my suprise all the vegetation was blown away by a huge flood from Hurricane Mitch or Hugo and the whole run opened up. We scouted the first part of the "middle" run that year but got down to the first BIG drop and decided it was over our small groups head. Way to go on the descent of the middle!

You just have to love the scouring that goes on in that drainage, I have never seen so few rocks in a river. I can imagine the vegetation growing back in two years though, if it didn't flood. Viva la machete. If I had wandered into the middle I would have been hightailing it out of there too, thankfully it was planned out well due to Ben's hard work.
