A question: how sheer is the gorge from the island section on downriver? Are most of the big sections portagable at lower flow? I'm considering taking experienced youngsters from the Kelsey Creek Trailhead down to Big Flat, and I would like the option of scrambling around big drops if things look too bony in late June...
